Enrollment Information - New Families

Welcome!  We are pleased that you are visiting our website and would love for you to visit our school and campus. If you have not already done so, please consider making an appointment for a tour by calling Linda McHugh (843-766-2128) or emailing (  We would appreciate the opportunity to meet you!
Applications for new students officially begins in January, but BSCS has rolling enrollment (inquire and enroll at any time during the year).  New students may be enrolled until the start of the 4th quarter as long as space is available.
Application forms may be downloaded from this website or requested from the school office (843-766-2128).

New enrollment is contingent upon space availability and other factors, including the child’s prior academic and disciplinary records. Because Catholic education is the primary mission of all Catholic schools of The Diocese of Charleston, priority may be given to Catholic parishioners.  Support for BSCS is provided by Blessed Sacrament Church, and priority may be given to active families of that parish, followed by active members of other Catholic parishes, then All Others.

In the event that the class is at capacity, your child will be placed on a waiting list. Unfortunately, this does not guarantee that a place will be available. You will be notified when there is an opening for your child.  The waiting list is yearly and not carried from year-to-year.
BSCS adheres to the South Carolina Department of Education age requirements for admission.
•    Children entering K3 program must be 3 years old on or before September 1st (and totally toilet trained - no exceptions).

BSCS enrolls children of any race, color, national, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally made available to students at the school.  BSCS does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national, and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
