Volunteering
We welcome you to a unique partnership at Blessed Sacrament Catholic School. As a school, we enjoy seeing family members active in our community. The students especially love to see the familiar faces of their loved ones during the school day. With you, we share an important goal to provide for your children an education devoted to academic excellence and committed to Catholic values and ideals.
If you would like to become a volunteer, please reach out to Kate Bowman via email at kbowman@scbss.org for information about the steps required by the Diocese to become compliant. You are required to create an account, complete a background check and Child Protection/Safe Environment training, and sign a few documents on a website called VIRTUS. Once complete, you are considered compliant for 5 years. Mrs. Bowman will provide a link and directions on completing the process.
Any volunteer also requesting driver approval will need to provide a copy of their valid driver's license (front and back) and insurance declarations page to Mrs. Bowman via email, as well as complete the necessary steps in VIRTUS.
