Early Elementary (Grades 1 & 2)
These are formative years in which our students grow into confident, capable readers while developing a deepening sense of independence. Students continue to benefit from the specials introduced in Preschool, now enriched through an expanded arts program encompassing visual art, drama, and music — cultivating creativity and self-expression alongside academic growth.
Elementary Division (Grades 3 - 4)
Equipped with a strong foundation of essential skills, students in Grades 3 and 4 begin to engage more challenging concepts across the disciplines, building upon prior knowledge with increasing depth and rigor. The academic program becomes gradually departmentalized during these years, affording students the benefit of varied teaching styles and purposeful movement between classes, while allowing faculty to teach within the academic subjects to which they are most devoted. This structure is deliberately designed to prepare students for full departmentalization upon entering Middle School.
