Early Elementary (Grades 1 & 2)
These are the years that our students grow into confident readers. Our students continue to enjoy their pre-school specials, but now benefit from our art program as well. They also now have an ABL (Action Base Learning) class. Research shows the link between movement and learning to improved academic performance and behavior. Students move to a one-to-one computing platform in Grade 2.
Elementary Division (Grades 3 - 4)
Equipped with all the necessary skills, our students now begin to tackle more challenging concepts across disciplines, building knowledge. Technology skills are integrated throughout the curriculum. The program starts to become departmentalized, giving students a variety of teaching styles and movement breaks, while allowing our faculty members to teach the academic subjects they are most passionate about. This is thoughtfully done to prepare our students for full departmentalization in Middle School.
