It's hard to believe that the school year is half over, my how time flies. Check out your child's class to see what's new.
K3 and K4 classes are still working on steady beat and rhythm. The students have experimented with on the barred instruments and seem to be enjoying it. We will continue to build on what they've already learned.
K5 students are working on pitch and moving from high to low and low to high. They are now learning to use the barred instruments. We have been experimenting with creating soundscapes for stories we've read.
The first grade students are working on reading music from notation.
The first grade students will be performing at a Performance Thursday on March 23rd at 1:45 in the Hall.
The 4th grade students are working on rounds and canons and putting in a lot of time on the instruments.
The Middle School students are working on their Spring Musical, Celebrate! The History of Rock and Roll. The performance date is set for May 11th.
Choir 1 will be joining Choir 2 and singing at the mass on April 2nd at the 11:00 am mass.
